Memorizing a complex set of dance moves does not make you a dancer anymore than familiarizing yourself with loudspeaker setup procedures makes your system sing.
Learning the art of setup takes time and patience. A good set of instructions is a great starting point, but it takes time and trial and error within a given space.
I just completed another book in my upcoming 10 book expansion of The Audiophile's Guide. This new series covers everything from headphones to turntables and beyond and will be a wonderful starting point for anyone interested in high-end audio.
My hope is I can launch it in February as I will most certainly let you know when it is ready.
