Further to my earlier post about the impossible task of setting up your speakers to disappear is the oddity of smaller boxes making bigger sounds.
We're rarely surprised when a biggish pair of speakers like the FR20s or 30s takes over the room with sonic ecstasy: the orchestra is the proper size, big and room filling.
But, what happens when a visually smaller pair like the Aspen FR10s do the same thing?
We often do a double take.
Smallish boxes filling the room with up to 100 orchestral players can be a mind blowing magic trick.
We don't always need big to play big.
