Organic audio

Most of us are aware that consuming too many processed foods is bad for us. Eating what nature made as opposed to what comes out of a factory vat is undoubtedly a better choice.

The same can be said for audio. Running our music through the ultra processing engine inside a computer homogenizes the output so it is unremarkable—which is the whole point of those engines—and why programs like Bit Perfect, Audirvana, and Roon came into being. They don't make better sound. They simply do an end run around the computer's built-in ultra processing section so what we hear is organic.

Organic, natural, unencumbered by over zealous engineers trying to smooth out any irregularities or differences will always sound better.

Let's work to keep our music natural!
