There's that magical period of time when everything's sweet and positive. The honeymoon. We can enjoy it with our new mates, cars, foods, job, and stereo system.
The thrill of connecting the new and reveling in its freshness. Bad or irritating traits be damned. For this one brief honeymoon, life feels limitless, exciting, and grand.
One of the reasons I salivate over the new and fresh is the promise of enjoying that blissful time together focused on the positive and ignoring the negative. From new music to new places to new equipment, hard to not seek out that which promises a gorgeous honeymoon.
And if we've chosen well, that honeymoon can morph into something even more special. A lifetime of pleasure—warts and all.
