The leaking dilemma

If you have a leaky roof you've got a problem that crops up every time it rains.

On the other hand, if you have a leaky listening room, you should feel lucky every time a bass note is played.

The best rooms are designed to leak at lower frequencies. This can be the result of purposefully flimsy walls or bass traps that capture and dissipate those lower frequencies in the same way a bucket traps water from a problematic roof.

Leaks aren't so great for water but when it comes to bass, there's really nothing better.
