Along the path from casual listener to discerning audiophile there are plenty of both roadblocks and milestones.
What a wonderful road to travel down. A road most people don't even know exists. For the lucky few who were treated to a glimpse of this path, congratulations.
As long time audiophiles we don't get to start out on a fresh journey like the one just described. But, what we do get to experience is the joy of new music, new equipment advances, new techniques to make better that which we already enjoy.
