The Audiophile spark

The Audiophile spark

How many audiophiles does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

Just one—but they'll spend hours debating whether the light output has the proper "warmth" and "presence," and they'll insist on upgrading to a vintage filament bulb with a ceramic base for optimal clarity!

Most outsiders have never even heard the word audiophile, yet they can easily hear the differences shown in an easy A/B test.

Are they audiophiles and just don't know it?

No, because they leave the room and never return. We audiophiles had a spark fly just like they did, but our spark lit a flame and there's did not.

Like so many other things in life, sparks fly but fires rarely burn. I would encourage each of us to be thankful for the inner flame that drives us forward.

So many of our fellow travelers wander aimlessly in the dark, alone and without the comfort of our shared musical experience.

We might be crazy, but our passion brings music to life in ways most people never dream of.
