I don't know if it's just me, but it seems lately almost no one I meet outside of our community has ever even heard of an audiophile.
I get that little lift of the eyebrow as if the "phile" part is something evil. Then they process the word audio.
"You mean like people that buy those expensive Apple earbuds?"
Sigh.
The numbers in our HiFi Family community continue to grow while the general knowledge of people like us seems to be moving ever farther from the norm.
Maybe there never was a "norm"?
Is it just me?
