Things worth remembering
I've managed to live approximately 26,800 days so far. That seems like a lot of days and yet my memory of all that's transpired in that lifetime of days numbers fewer than one hundred.
We remember the highlights, the remarkable, the good, and the bad. The rest passes by in the blur we call the everyday.
Octave Record's latest release celebrates those memorable moments. Clandestine Amigo's Things Worth Remembering is a beautifully crafted work of art—perhaps our best recording of 2021.
Head over and have a listen to the samples and I think you too will be as captivated as I.
And speaking of Octave Records, I am delighted to let you know our first vinyl release will be available beginning next week (there's only 500 so first come, first served). Gabe Mervine's Say Somethin' is a fabulous jazz recording that we decided to release first. I've been playing the test pressings at home and they are, as one would expect, a new experience. The magic of vinyl is there in all its glory.
As soon as the limited edition single-pressing 180-gram vinyl discs are ready I'll drop you a note.
In the meantime, check out Things Worth Remembering. It's gorgeous.
