Today, December 31st, is the last day of the year. Seems exceptional. Special.
But, if I didn't have a calendar to remind me, it is in fact a day like every other day.
Which reminds me how fortunate I am to be this old, to have my health, to be excited to get out of bed every morning, to be part of our community, to have my kids and grandkids, my wife Terri, my friends, my colleagues.
I figure it this way. No matter what happens I've already won the lottery.
Every day from here on out is paid interest on a long and wonderful investment.
