Our stereo systems won't work in the vacuum of space.
That's because the task at hand is the moving of air. Our loudspeakers are like pistons, pushing and pulling the air we breathe in and out so we can hear the music.
The electronics driving those speakers are all about getting it right: pulling the data out of a CD or streaming service, converting the vinyl grooves into electrical impulses, producing enough wattage to effectively move those pistons back forth without ever making a mistake.
Musical instruments have the same task. Think of how the whack of a bass drum sends a shock of air pressure into the room.
Moving air is the task.
How our equipment accomplishes that makes all the difference in the world when it comes to connecting us to the music we love.
