Just ask Paul

I've been working on a new video series called Confessions of an Audiophile, after the upcoming book. In this new series, I'll cover just about everything: speaker setup, how stuff works, circuit designs, stories, history, how PS got started, the challenges we've had along the way, advice to start-ups, etc. In addition to these topics, I'll be answering your questions. Here's the plan. Submit your question to me by going here. Each question will be presented to a small internal group and they'll select the best among them: most interesting, challenging, funny, insightful. Selected questions will be handed to me sight unseen (to keep it fresh and interesting). I'll read the question on camera and give my unrehearsed answer. If we pick yours, I'll read your name and question on camera and we'll let you know in advance when the episode airs. The plan is to produce a new video each week. The videos will be short—ten to twenty minutes long—and will be photographed up front and personal at different locations in Boulder, and around the world, depending on my travel schedule. Each episode will be filmed as a walking video 'selfie' from a contraption I invented involving a 3-axis gimbal stabilizer and telescoping stick. (I just couldn't imagine sitting at my desk and turning the camera on. Boring.) It'll be a few weeks before we launch the first video. In the meantime, it'd be great if you could contribute a series of questions. I would encourage you to subscribe to the PS Audio video channel so you get an email when each new episode launches. A subscribe button's located on the question page here. Hopefully, this'll be fun and informative and I am excited to spend some time with each and every one of you, if only in a virtual sense.
