Add a little sparkle

I love some of the audiophile terminologies that we as a community use.
Just the other day while listening to a few new design ideas the term, "it needs just a bit more sparkle on the top end" was spoken.
We all knew exactly what was meant.
As if we could see the sound…it just needs a bit of highlight added.
But what of newbies to our great avocation?
Some folks are really good at tossing new terms around until an obvious connection is made. Others struggle to piece together any semblance of a relationship.
Whatever level you're at in our quest for better sound and music in the home, it's helpful and fun to know the lexicon.
Now, what happened to that shallow bottom end?
