Best of both worlds
I don't like losing. Which is why as an engineer and designer I am not only comfortable with compromise but rely upon it to win. Twenty-five years ago when I first began experimenting with passive power conditioners and isolation transformers it didn't take me long to figure out they were double-edged swords. They cleaned and quieted at the expense of music's life and harmonic richness. I had been robbed! The choice of trading music's life and harmonic richness for the quiet cleanliness of lower AC noise was unacceptable. I wanted the best of both worlds. That's how the idea of the Power Plant came into my head. Regeneration offered a means of not only preserving music's life and richness while lowering noise and distortion, but actually enhancing it beyond that of going straight into the wall socket. The best of both worlds. Perfect? Never. But noticeably better than either course alone. That's how we win.
