PS Audio has never been a big advocate of publishing specifications because they rarely reflect the way a product performs in your system. Customers have judged performance, based on specification comparison, without a working knowledge of how specifications relate to the way a product sounds. However, the opposite has happened as well: some customers will not choose our products because we don’t publish the specs. We decided to go ahead and publish specifications for the GCA line of amplifiers, acquiescing to demand from our customers.
We felt that as long as we’re publishing specifications we may as well include the graphic data from those measurements as well.
PS is a performance based company and as such we believe how a product performs in your system is related to these measurements but these measurements are not the entire story.
